Announcement: Our next batch of group intensive conversation class will start on June 9th. For classes, we follow Sapporo, Japan time (GMT+9). For the next batch, only basic/beginner conversation level classes will be available. Check our FAQ for questions, and contact support@toriikaiwa.com if you want to book for assessment interview (applicable only to students who wish to enter intermediate levels or above) or have any other questions.
About Torii Kaiwa Japanese Language Class
Our Japanese Conversation Class is designed for learners who want to improve their speaking and listening skills through an interactive online Zoom method. Classes are held twice a week, with each session lasting 110 minutes. To accommodate students from around the world, we offer three different time slots (morning, afternoon, and evening) in Sapporo, Japan time (GMT+9). Students from all nationalities and backgrounds are welcome to join, including those residing in Japan.
For private classes, scheduling is flexible and will be adjusted to suit your availability and the teacher’s schedule. This can be arranged via email or after joining the group chat. All classes are conducted online, allowing you to learn comfortably from your home or any other preferred location, saving commuting time and increasing your learning efficiency.

How to Join Our Conversation
Make sure you join the right level for you. If you plan to join the intermediate or advanced class, we recommend you take an initial interview with our teacher as described above. Go to step 2 if you already decide your level, or in the case of a beginner, you could join without an initial interview. Please note that if you take any level above beginner, it doesn’t cover the materials in the level below it. For conversation class, please note that there will be no lessons on Japanese writings and reading. So, if you wish to learn Japanese characters and reading skills, please refer to JLPT Online Bootcamp classes.

Proceed to check out. Make sure you select the appropriate level and settings (group/private). For private classes, you can request for class day options via email after checkout.
You will receive an email from support@toriikaiwa.com after conducting your purchase. We will also send you email within 2 business days containing the link for the Zoom class, and group link for you to join.

Aside from the Zoom class meeting, see all other benefits you will receive in the above section. The Class will be conducted via Zoom Online interactive meeting with 90 minutes per meeting. The above price is already the total price for each level. You can conduct payment via PayPal. Group classes will be conducted for a maximum of 6 students. Private classes will be conducted 1 on 1 with the teacher or could hold a maximum of 3 students upon request. If you wish to learn in a private conversation group, you can request via support@toriikaiwa.com for a private group of up to 15 people at the same price as the above-mentioned group class. The class will be taught by Native-level instructors with 5+ years of experience in teaching in both English and Japanese. If you wish to be taught by Native in private, you could request via email, with different pricing will be applied.
